Bio - Sara Lindsay:

Sara is a BACP accredited Humanistic Counsellor, qualified Clinical Supervisor & professional tutor and trainer. She has delivered training in various industry sectors since 2000; including commodities trading, FMCG and counselling sectors.

She has had experience tutoring students in L2 and L4 counselling qualifications and has had a busy private practice since 2005, dealing with a very wide range of personal issues; whilst having an interest and expertise in loss/bereavement; life-changing development and addictions. Sara has worked in a wide range of settings including: hospice; holistic cancer centre; youth drop-in centre and prisons. She has worked for RAPt (Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust) 2009-2013 delivering addictions treatment in men’s prison; and training their employees on addictions-specific topics.

Sara has a passion and stead-fast belief in the Humanistic approach that has run through her years of counselling, training and supervision experience; and endeavours to model this in her approachable, inclusive style of facilitation.

Bio - Jon Hill:

Jon Hill is a Certified Co-Active Life Coach and professional training facilitator. He spent over 10 years working in the fields of addiction and substance misuse, and now specialises in providing wellbeing and resilience training with clients ranging from organisations such as Johnson and Johnson and GlasxoSmithKline to the NHS and Social Services.

Jon studied Forensic Psychology and moved into the addictions field, initially as a substance misuse worker, before going on to manage a number of different treatment services both in prisons and the community. In recent years he has developed a thriving life-coaching practice, working with clients around issues including career change, relationships and energy management.

Jon brings years of experience of working with clients as well as an in-depth understanding of drug- and alcohol-related issues, and a positive, motivational and engaging facilitation style.

Bio - Norman Beecher:

Norman is an internationally accredited Drug and Alcohol counsellor and qualified clinical supervisor.

He graduated from the world renowned Hazelden Foundation for Addiction Studies, Counsellor Training programme in 1997 and has continued his professional development through numerous training courses and workshops.

He has worked internationally - in Bermuda, USA and the UK and with his wife Victoria was commissioned to design, develop and manage a residential treatment facility and programme in the Caribbean.

Norman brings extensive experience in working with addictions and in the training and supervision of counsellors in the field. He is experienced in the management of therapeutic drug and alcohol teams in prisons and the community and currently facilitates the on-going professional development of addiction professionals.

Norman brings a warm, accepting, non-confrontational style to training.
